Five minutes a fortnight – with Andy Harrison

Have you ever wondered about what makes a person you admire tick? Or have you stopped to think about how well you know the people you spend the majority of your working week with? It only takes five minutes a fortnight to find out a few choice things about the people who make things happen here at THE DM GROUP.

In our first “five minutes” we’ve gone straight to the top shelf. Please meet Andy Harrison, the Johnny Depp of advertising.

• How long have you been at THE DM GROUP?
  Just over 10 years.
• What do you do here?
  I’m the Head of Art.
• Where was your last holiday?
  Tasmania.  It was nice.
• Are you a PC or a Mac?
  Mac. Definitely.
• If you could take two animals, and combine them into one super animal – what would they be?
  A dolphin and a tiger.
• Really? Why’s that?
  Because everybody loves dolphins.
• What do you think the DM in THE DM GROUP stands for?
  Dean Martin.
• How do you take your coffee?
  White with 2.
• What is your greatest achievement?
  Winning a Shakin’ Stevens dance competition when I was 14.
• What is your most embarrassing moment?
  Sitting on the couch with my ex-girlfriend and her parents on our 3rd date and accidentally farting. I thought I could sneak it out.
• What’s your favourite quote?
  What’s for you, won’t go past you.
