We’re putting on our shoes

CSR tree huggers

As a wise fitness instructor once reflected, ‘The hardest part about training is putting on your shoes.’

It’s the same with corporate social responsibility.

The hardest part isn’t deciding what to do, it’s deciding to do something. Or as one other fitness icon put it: just do it.

That’s why we’ve launched causeDM to help clients expand and market their good work.

And it’s why we’ve formed our own Tree Hugger Team – Nina Ee, Ian Thorn, David Findlay, Liliana Lettieri, Kristin Tomuschat and Elizabeth Raphael – to help THE DM GROUP grow as a better corporate citizen.

They meet weekly to assess our ecological and social impact, and recommend improvements – like reducing our energy usage and increasing our commitment to PLAN.

The steps may seem small but the commitment is big.

We’ve woken up.

We’re putting on our shoes.

Super success

Slide1

Last night, UniSuper won Electronic Campaign of the Year at the annual ASFA Awards.

The Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia is a prestigious forum for our client to showcase their advances in digital communications for members.

It’s a great way to demonstrate the digital expertise of trademarkDM and clickDM, too.

And as the ASFA judges noted, ‘UniSuper’s campaign aimed to educate new members about making the choice between defined benefits and accumulation accounts…[it] was a very successful campaign…that was well received by recipients.’

Sounds like everyone’s a winner.

Quality control

Press check

Maintaining quality is key to our success.

Which is why today trademarkDM production manager, David Findlay, and account executive, Kristin Tomuschat, visited one of our print suppliers, Geon, to press check our latest job for HOSTPLUS.

The one-piece self-mailer to members has been finished using a Hunkeler, a multi-functional finishing machine that can personalise, fold, glue, perforate and trim in one pass.

Breaking down the walls

Office Renovations

Last September we opened up our office in the Melbourne CBD by knocking down quite a few walls.

The result was dramatic. And surprising – some clients hadn’t realised our premises are so big.

Now, we’re taking down even more walls in preparation for future growth.

Budding renovators can check out the demolitions here.
